Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is a quite a focused form of therapy intended to alleviate problems caused by vestibular disorders, primarily vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls.

Within our facility we aim to support you through specific rehabilitation programs, developed from the findings of our clinical assessment in conjunction with any prior assessment/test results, and most importantly with the input from you, the client.

People with vestibular disorders often experience problems with vertigo, dizziness, visual disturbance, and/or imbalance which are a few of the concerns VRT aims to address. Secondary symptoms may also result for vestibular related issues like nausea and/or vomiting, reduced ability to focus or concentrate, and fatigue.

We are sensitive to the fact vestibular disorders can diminish quality of life and may impact areas in your life such as social interaction, capacity to work, financial burden which can have a flow on effect contributing to emotional problems, like anxiety and depression.

Our aim is to provide a supportive program to get you back involved in an active and social lifestyle, not only to improve your primary vestibular concern, however to also improve any secondary health concerns which have resulted.
